Covington PK-8 School
Project Description:
PCC was awarded the Single Prime contract for this 78,118 sf school project. The project consisted of masonry bearing walls, joist and deck for roof framing and brick for the veneer. The site was adjacent to the existing High school and required coordination of the bus and car routes. The project also required abatement and demolition of the existing school building upon completion of the new school. The contract was $16.7 million. The schedule was March, 2015 through August, 2016.
Scope of Services:
Peterson Construction was the Single prime Contractor in charge of the entire site. PCC self-performed management, scheduling, quality control, excavation, concrete, masonry, carpentry and the doors/hardware.
